"Rebozo es el paño de hombros para envolver el corazón de la mujer y prolongar la ternura de sus brazos" - anonimo.
"Rebozo is the shoulder cloth to wrap a woman's heart and prolong the tenderness of her arms" -anonymous.

Necuatlapacholoni  is the Nahuatl name of Rebozo (sp). What women and men have come to know as a shawl in our time, lacks the knowledge, connection and reverence that this garment embodied since its creation. A rebozo has had many meanings and even poetry written about it in the  Mexican identity. Rebozos are  worn as a gesture  of decency and respect in church or ritual, used to carry babies, used by doulas in a therapeutic way, and to adorn one's self.
