About

The Medicine Wheel is a human-made healing vortex. A physical representation of all that is: Mother Earth, Father Sky,The Four directions, cycles of day/life, and the seasons. It connects us to the Spirit realms and the subtle, all-pervading magic that surrounds us.
My mission is to support and nurture body and spirit, through working with herbs' gentle medicine conjuring their healing gifts, to aid the physical and beyond.
Currently, The Medicine Wheel is a nomadic apothecary traveling on the red road. Our medicine is gathered in a good way, and under guidance of Lakota Elder teachings and Mexican Curanderismo Traditions.

suOm's Journey along the Medicine Wheel

Healing and magic have been part of  suOm's life from an early age. Her love for healing and magic began at the age of four when she began learning about the Spirit world, ritual and magic through her grandfather. He was a free-mason master of ceremony 32nd degree mason, a master dowser and a practicing Spiritist who would share teachings with her both in casual conversation and class-like setups.
Her mother, an architect by training, taught her the practice of healing architectural design, chromotherapy, and dowsing for site assessments.
Because of growing up among magic and design, combined with her love for nature, she was guided to  New Mexico, "the land of enchantment", where she graduated with a degree in Environmental Planning and Design from University of  New Mexico. There she reconnected with the sacred, this time through Native American teachings and ceremonies.
In her practice as an urban planner and designer, she envisions how to harmonize urban landscapes and natural landscapes while providing designed spaces that like the  medicine wheel, connect us to the magical in every day life.

 She was diagnosed with an incurable, degenerative nerve condition at the age of 20. As a student of the plant teachers, she found herself  pulled to dive fully on a healing journey of  herbal medicine. A combination of Vibrational Medicine, dowsing and Jin Shin Jyutsu allowed her to heal herself from this seemingly incurable disease.  She now understands that the dis-ease diagnosis was a catalyst for her to be her own healer through the ways she already embodied.

suOm is currently a traditional apprentice in Curanderismo in central Mexico and practices self-help Jin Shin Jyutsu daily since being introduced to the Art by Mary E. Hooley in the summer of 2016.

{The apothecary products and services will be updated as time permits during this intensive study and practice time.}
